GMO Free Food

The use of genetic engineering, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs), is prohibited in organic products. But this also means an organic farmer can't plant GMO seeds, an organic chicken can't eat GMO corn, and an organic soup producer can't use any GMO ingredients.

Since 2015 in a average grocery store, roughly 75 percent of processed foods contain genetically modified organisms, or GMOs. This has only increased each year since.

The results of most studies with GM foods indicate that they may cause some common toxic effects such as hepatic, pancreatic, renal, or reproductive effects and may alter the haematological, biochemical, and immunologic parameters in humans. Also, the problem is long term effects that have yet to be completely tested.
